The 40's Sweater

The Katharine Knitwear Collection is inspired by the iconic style of Katharine Hepburn. She was a pioneer for pants for women, and miles away from most other style icons at the time. The sculptural sweater is inspired by a dress she wore, and makes a perfect match with The Wide Pants from the same collection.

Construction
Worked bottom down with one strand in each quality held together. Unusual construction where you work the collar first and then adds stitches with Turkish cast on in each side. Each side is shaped with short rows. Sleeve edges and front bands are double knitted.
